Thank you for using FindMyEvent, a Chrome Extension that helps you find and save events based on your chosen topic and location.

FindMyEvent does not collect, share, or sell any personal information to third parties.
The only data stored is: Events you choose to save (title, date, location, and link).
This data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome’s built-in chrome.storage API.
It is not transmitted or stored on any external server.
2. How We Use the Information
The locally stored data is used only to:
Display your saved events inside the extension popup.
Keep your saved events available even after you close or restart your browser.
We do not analyze, track, or send any of your browsing activity or event data elsewhere.
3. Permissions Explained
To make FindMyEvent work properly, the extension requests the following permissions:
storage – to save and load your selected events locally on your browser.
tabs – to identify and interact with your current browser tab for retrieving event data. scripting – to inject scripts that extract event details from web pages you search. host permissions – to access event-related web pages (like Google Search results) in order to find and display relevant events.
These permissions are used solely for the functioning of the extension and not for tracking or data collection.
4. Third-Party Services
FindMyEvent does not use or connect to any external APIs, analytics tools, or tracking services.
5. Data Security
All stored data remains within your Chrome browser.
If you uninstall the extension or clear your Chrome data, all saved information will be permanently deleted.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated “Last Updated” date above.
